Video Producers Can Now Sell Ads on YouTube

YouTube has changed its policy and now allows video producers to sell ads on their videos.

Many media sites are small enough that they often don't have enough viewership to justify selling ads on their videos. Distributing their videos on YouTube will increase the viewership and help entice sponsors to buy ad positions.

The new policy encourages professional producers to distribute their content on video. The partnership includes a revenue-sharing clause.
